536,489 drivers were flashed by Luxembourg fixed speed cameras in first two years of operation.
According to Luxembourg Times,
“Of that figure, 522,605 drivers were ordered to pay speeding fines.
For the remaining 13,884 cases, offenders were caught driving at such high speeds that criminal cases were filed against them.
Drivers with vehicles registered in Luxembourg were, by far, the worst offenders, with 322,535 cases.
This was followed by Belgian vehicles (58,515), French (51,375), German (39,816) and Dutch (29,464).”
